Quality & Inspection

Every component we move passes through our inspection laboratory under risk-based procedures designed to verify authenticity, confirm traceability and ensure production readiness.

Our quality capabilities include documentation and traceability review, advanced visual inspection, digital microscopy, dimensional verification, XRF material analysis, X-ray inspection, solderability evaluation, counterfeit mitigation and ESD controlled handling.

Inspection Capabilities

Our inspection approach is tailored to the material, available traceability, customer requirements, flow downs, and identified risk. Depending on the application, our capabilities include visual, dimensional, material and internal construction analysis using advanced inspection technologies.

Counterfeit Mitigation

Our counterfeit mitigation capabilities are designed to identify inconsistencies in component markings, construction, materials, packaging and documentation before material is approved for shipment.

Our Austin Inspection Laboratory

Our Austin inspection laboratory is equipped with advanced inspection and analytical systems, giving our Quality team sophisticated in-house capabilities for digital microscopy, precision dimensional measurement, X-ray analysis, automated component counting and XRF material analysis, all within a dedicated ESD controlled environment.

Keyence VHX digital microscope in the inspection lab

Keyence VHX

Provides high-magnification visual inspection of component markings, surfaces, leads, package condition and other fine details.

Keyence IM-X1000 dimensional measurement system in the inspection lab

Keyence IM-X1000

Performs fast, precise dimensional measurements to verify component size, lead geometry and other critical physical characteristics.

Creative Electron TruView Prime X-ray inspection system

Creative Electron TruView Prime R

Provides nondestructive X-ray inspection of internal component construction, including die, bond wires and structural consistency.

Creative Electron TruCount X-ray component counter

Creative Electron TruCount

Uses X-ray imaging to automatically count components on reels without opening or disturbing the packaging.

Fischer XDAL at the inspection station

Fischer XDAL

Analyzes material composition and plating characteristics to help verify component consistency and identify material anomalies.

Additional Testing

When specialized testing beyond our internal capabilities is required, Concentric Silicon can coordinate additional analysis through qualified independent laboratories.

Quality Management

Our quality management system is AS9120B and ISO 9001:2015 certified, with counterfeit mitigation processes aligned with AS6081 requirements. Concentric Silicon is also ITAR registered and participates in GIDEP and SAE G19-D.
