We handle all personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), and other relevant privacy frameworks, and we maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit concentricsilicon.com or any of our other websites, applications, or digital services (each a “Site,” collectively the “Sites”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Concentric Silicon is a quantitative distributor of electronic components, helping OEMs, EMS providers, and contract manufacturers rapidly secure critical parts and unlock liquidity from excess inventory through principal risk capital. For more information about our services, please visit our Solutions page.

Please read this Policy carefully. By accessing or using our Sites, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with our practices, your choice is not to use our Sites. Children Under the Age of 18

Our Sites are intended for business use, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of eighteen (18). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from or about a child under 18, please contact us at contact@concentricsilicon.com.

Information We Collect About You

We only collect a limited amount of information from visitors to our Sites:

Information you submit — When you submit our contact form or a callback request, we receive the information you provide, which typically includes your name, business email address, phone number, company name, part number (for callback requests), and any message you choose to include.

Server logs — Like most websites, when you visit our Sites our hosting provider automatically records standard request information (such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, and time of request) for security, abuse prevention, and basic operational analytics. We do not combine these logs with your contact submissions.

How We Collect Your Personal Data

We collect personal data only in the following ways:

Directly from you — When you fill in a form on our Sites, request a callback on a product, or correspond with us via email or phone.

Automatically — Standard request information is recorded by our hosting provider as described above. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or marketing analytics on our Sites.

On What Legal Basis Do We Process Your Personal Data?

We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Article 6 of the GDPR, on the following legal bases:

Legitimate interests — When processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. This includes operating and improving our Sites, conducting analytics, and ensuring network security.

Consent — When you have given us clear consent to process your personal data for a specific purpose, such as submitting an inquiry through our contact form, subscribing to our communications, or accepting cookies.

Contractual necessity — When processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Legal obligation — When processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which Concentric is subject.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect about you for the following purposes:

To present our Sites and their contents to you and to ensure they function properly. To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us. To communicate with you regarding inquiries, service requests, and prospective business relationships. To process employment applications submitted through our Sites or affiliated platforms. To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide the information. To compile analytics and statistics to improve our Sites and services. To ensure the security and stability of our systems. To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us. To comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. To notify you about changes to our Sites or any services we offer or provide through them.

Do We Share Your Personal Data?

We share your personal data with third parties outside of Concentric only insofar as this is legally permitted or required, and we limit the transfer of your personal data to what is necessary for the respective purpose.

Within Concentric Silicon — We may share your personal data among Concentric Silicon, Inc. and its affiliates for internal business and operational purposes, as well as for purposes consistent with the purpose for which the information was originally collected.

With service providers — We may share your personal data with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, and marketing. These providers are contractually required to use the information exclusively for the services rendered on our behalf and to comply with applicable data protection regulations.

For legal purposes — We may disclose your personal data to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to any government or regulatory request; to enforce our Terms of Use and other agreements; or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Concentric Silicon, our customers, or others.

We do not sell your personal data.

How Do We Transfer Your Personal Data?

Concentric Silicon is headquartered in the United States and works with customers, suppliers, and service providers around the world. Where a data transfer across borders may be necessary, we take appropriate steps to ensure that your personal data receives the level of protection required by the GDPR and other applicable laws. For transfers to entities located outside the European Economic Area, we implement appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms.

Where Is Your Personal Data Stored?

We do not operate a customer-facing database of website visitor information. Submissions made through our contact and callback forms are transmitted via our email service provider and delivered to the Concentric Silicon team’s business email accounts, where they are retained for so long as necessary to follow up with you. Standard web request logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and operational purposes. All processing follows reasonable, industry-standard information security practices.

How Long Will Your Data Be Stored?

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law. We will delete or anonymize personal data once it is no longer necessary, subject to any applicable legal or regulatory requirements for longer retention, or as needed to establish, assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Cookies

We try to keep cookies to a minimum on our public Sites. We do not use third-party advertising or marketing trackers, and we do not run third-party analytics products (such as Google Analytics) on our public pages.

Strictly necessary cookies — A small number of cookies may be used to keep the Sites working properly, for example to maintain a session for an employee who has signed in to our internal portal. These are essential for the relevant features to function.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Declining strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain features (such as employee sign-in) from working.
