The CQM1H’s rack-less modular design allows customization of control systems by adding "inner boards" for advanced functions, specialized I/O, and communications modules. It offers the most flexibility of all PLC systems in its class with 4 different base CPUs, 16 built-in DC inputs, and expandable up to 512 I/O points. The system supports all existing and new CQM1 I/O modules, includes protocol macro features for third-party serial communication, and provides optional memory cassettes for data backup and real-time clock functionality. ControllerLink network supports 8 kword data packets at up to 2 Mbps with 32 nodes. Advanced instruction set includes PID, floating point math, protocol macro instructions, and supports CompoBus/S, SYSMAC BUS, and AS-interface for remote I/O. Up to 15.2 kwords of program memory available.
